Do Good Heroes Donates $25,000 to Support Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation

At National Life Group, we created the Do Good Heroes program to recognize first responders who go above and beyond, not only in moments of crisis, but in their everyday acts of service. We strive to make a real difference in the lives of those who serve and protect our communities.

To support our efforts, we recently donated $25,000 to the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) Foundation towards the purchase of single-layer Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for the city’s firefighters.

Following the devastating January 2025 wildfires, the LAFD identified this gear as a top priority to help reduce exposure to harmful chemicals in traditional turnout gear, while still ensuring protection during non-critical incidents. This contribution will help equip more firefighters with the gear they need to stay safe while serving others.

Members of the National Life team were on hand to present the check and represent the gratitude we all feel for the LAFD’s tireless work.

Are you a National Life-affiliated agent? We want to hear about the first responders in your community and celebrate their work. Nominate them for the 2025 Do Good Heroes program today.
